On 4th June 2008 Jegan Matha Matriculation School begun it’s journey of service with 140 students. On 5th June 2008 at 6 pm there was a grand official inauguration of school. The Motto of the school is EDUCATE, EMPOWER, ENLIGHTEN. In the first year the students were admitted from Pre KG to 6th Std.

Seeing the good response and needs of the students, approval was granted to built another six rooms at the south part of the existing block. The newly built 'B' block was blessed and opened by Rev. Fr. Susaimani osm, Vicar Provincial, on 20th February 2009.  On the same day a new and well equipped science lab was declared open by Mr. Gurchandran, Inspector of Matriculation School, Trichy, and a newly built modern basket ball court was dedicated to the needs of the students.

The medium of instruction is English. Children learn Maths, Science and Social Sciences subjects besides learning Tamil as the first language. They learn English as second language. The school is affiliated to the Matriculation Board.

During the second academic year 2009-10 the students were admitted from LKG to VIII.The third academic year 2010- 2011 the students were admitted from LKG to IX.

The fourth academic year 2011-2012 the school was upgraded as High School. Nine students from X th standard wrote their first public examination.In the second batch, 25 students appeared for x standard public examination.

The Second floor and Science lab foundation stone stone was blessed and laid by Rev. Fr.Angel M.Ruiz Garnica osm,the prior General on 16th November 2011.The full fledged building was blessed and opened by By Rev. Fr. Susaimani osm, Prior Provincial of Aikiya Annai Province.

During the academic year 2013- 2014 our school is upgraded as Higher secondary level. In the first year of Higher Secondary 34 students were admitted into two groups maths with biology and maths with computer science.
